With deep respect for the wisdom of the ShrimadBhagavad Gita and its relevance in modern life, I sincerely pledge myself to the Gita Mission. Through my experiences, I have realized that without right understanding and clarity, life often becomes directionless and confined within illusion and confusion. The Bhagavad Gita provides the wisdom and vision necessary to live with awareness, purpose, and responsibility.
I commit myself to the regular study and contemplation of the Bhagavad Gita, and to participating sincerely in the learning programs and examinations associated with this mission. I shall also make every possible effort to encourage and support others in connecting with this path of conscious and meaningful living.
I do not claim to be someone who has mastered every verse of the Gita, nor do I see myself as a saviour. I consider myself a sincere seeker, still learning and growing through its teachings. My effort will not merely be to memorize verses, but to reflect the wisdom of the Gita in my conduct and daily life, while supporting fellow seekers on the same journey.
At the same time, I firmly understand that spirituality does not mean escaping from one’s duties and responsibilities. True Adhyatam lies in fulfilling one’s responsibilities with awareness, honesty, and discipline. Therefore, while dedicating myself to the ideals of the Gita Mission, I shall continue to fulfil my personal, social, and moral responsibilities with sincerity and commitment.
I believe that the essence of the Bhagavad Gita lies in learning the art of inner struggle — the discipline of mastering oneself before anything else. In the initial phase of my Gita Mission, I commit myself to focusing deeply on self-improvement. I will consciously work on my thoughts, habits, actions, and awareness, striving to overcome my inner limitations.
This journey will begin not with changing the world, but with transforming myself — step by step, with sincerity, patience, and discipline.
I dedicate myself to this path of inner growth and self-mastery.
